CALLING FOR A LIVE PUBLIC DEBATE ON ALUTRINT
Why are they afraid to publish the accounts of Alutrint as required by state regulations? Why are they afraid to reveal the Cost Benefit Analysis for Alutrint?
For five years citizens have been requesting, through letters to the National Energy Corporation, the National Gas Company, the Ministry of Energy and Energy Industries, the Ministry of Finance, the Auditor General’s Office, the Environmental Management Authority, Alutrint, the above documents. They were requested under the Freedom of Information Act. They were requested in a resolution at the Symposium on the Economics of Alutrint in September 2009.
No information on any Cost Benefit Analysis or Accounts is forthcoming. Why are these architects of our gas industry so silent on how they are exploiting our patrimony?
I want to bring Dr Wayne Kublalsingh together to debate with the Prime Minister, Professor Ken Julien, Mr Conrad Enill, or Alutrint’s Acting CEO, Mr Philip Julien, on the Economics of Alutrint.
Dr Kublalsingh has said he would debate any of these gentlemen, or all four at the same time, at any place, once it is carried live and in public. I am now trying to get any or all of the others to agree. Would you agree to lobby the media for such a debate. Call me at 769-8792 to let me know what you think?
